Dup\u0103 o absen\u021b\u0103 de 10 ani, Mel Gibson revine pe marile ecrane \u00een calitate de regizor cu un film biografic (subcategorie &#8211; dram\u0103 de r\u0103zboi) despre povestea de via\u021b\u0103 a soldatului Desmond Doss, care a luptat \u00een cel de-al Doilea R\u0103zboi Mondial f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 pun\u0103 m\u00e2na pe o arm\u0103. La un moment dat, Desmond arunc\u0103, \u00een joac\u0103, o c\u0103r\u0103mid\u0103 \u0219i aproape \u00eel ucide pe fratele s\u0103u.
